Globally, cardiac arrest claims more lives than colorectal cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, influenza, pneumonia, auto accidents, HIV, firearms and house fires combined.  (American Heart Association)

Early response to cardiac with CPR from bystanders has been shown to have a significant impact to outcomes.  If performed immediately, CPR can double, if not triple the chance for survival.

And get an AED if the person is not responding & gasping, snoring, or breathing.


Place your hands in the center of the victim’s chest, push hard and fast (2 inches @ 100x/min). Allow the chest to recoil between pushes by lifting your hands.


Locate an AED and follow the instructions for use.
