Early response to cardiac with CPR from bystanders has been shown to have a significant impact to outcomes. If performed immediately, CPR can double, if not triple the chance for survival.
CPR Steps

And get an AED if the person is not responding & gasping, snoring, or breathing.
COMPRESS…
Place your hands in the center of the victim’s chest, push hard and fast (2 inches @ 100x/min). Allow the chest to recoil between pushes by lifting your hands.
CLEAR…
Locate an AED and follow the instructions for use.
